Planning Secured for Plots 9 + 10 at Waterloo and Queen Street

We are delighted that Plots 9 + 10 at Waterloo and Queen Street, Romford, received unanimous planning approval last night.

Both buildings are a key regeneration project for Wates Residential and London Borough of Havering and will provide 107 affordable homes, a new community centre, and significant public realm and landscape enhancements.

Positioned on either side of St Andrew's Church, the buildings have been carefully designed to frame this important Grade II listed landmark. Through considered massing, articulated rooflines, and a warm, brick palette, the scheme establishes a sensitive architectural dialogue.

Director Chris Kallan said:

“We are absolutely delighted to receive unanimous approval for Plots 9 and 10. From the outset, our ambition was to create high-quality, affordable homes that respond sensitively to the setting of St Andrew’s Church while establishing a confident new character for this part of Romford.”
