The Nova Building is a premium residential development in Phase One of the Nova, VictoriaMasterplan. Flanagan Lawrence were appointed in 2011 by Land Securities as Interior Architectand FLINT as Interior Designer for project. Post RIBA Stage 3, Flanagan Lawrence were alsoappointed as Executive Architect for the delivery of the buildings’ hugely complex envelope,designed by Benson and Forsyth. 

The brief was to work within the consented building envelope, reconfiguring the layoutsinternally to improve efficiency, create genuinely realisable value, and deliver a benchmarkproduct to the market. 

The scheme comprises 170 private apartments across 12 floors with a further 6 retail units atground and first floor levels. Accommodation ranges from compact studios to 4 bed duplexpenthouses, clustered around a series of 4 cores, each of which has its own front door atground level offering a greater sense of exclusivity. 

Working with the buildings’ exterior expression, the fresh and contemporary apartments are enhanced by the optimum use of space and light, and with their careful choice of materials, finishes and detailing, Flanagan Lawrence and FLINT have fashioned a portfolio of stylish domestic interiors.
