The Hippodrome is a Grade 2 listed venue designed by Bertie Crowe and opened on Boxing Day 1913. The historic hall where Marlene Dietrich, Laurence Olivier, Vera Lynn, Queen and AC/DC performed will become both a Church and Performance Venue.

It was taken over by the BBC in the 1960’s as a Television Studio and it has been put to more recent use as a radio studio and multipurpose concert venue. In 2007 it became an Evangelical Church and since 2017 it has been an Islamic Centre.

Flanagan Lawrence are developing plans for the Hippodrome in Golders Green which will be refurbished as part of Hillsong’s plans for the historic Music Hall.
