Located on this landmark site, adjacent to Wembley Stadium, Alameda continues Flanagan Lawrence’s work with developer Quintain on the ongoing regeneration of Wembley Park. The 340 Build to Rent apartments add to the increasingly vibrant and dynamic residential and cultural area.

Cafes, bars and shops at ground level create an active frontage, with residential entrances and concierge facilities reinforcing Wembley Park as an exciting destination.

Architecturally, the strong articulation of the vertical frame elements create a landmark presence, worthy of a building adjacent to the Wembley Stadium and the Brent Civic Centre. The building design draws inspiration from Wembley Arena with its strong vertical emphasis and ‘white fins’. The materiality of the building follows the trend set by Landsby and uses light brickwork. In contrast, along the boulevard, the 9 storey block is given emphasis with a strong horizontal hierarchy and that horizontality is reinforced by the use of dark bricks with a light aluminium band at floor level, enclosing the balcony edges.

Open space for residents comes in the form of a private balcony or resident amenity terrace space at roof levels.

A series of green rooms sit around the central lawn on the first floor terrace allowing different functions. A stair link to the amenity floor below provides easy access for residents and their guests.

The tenth floor roof level is landscaped and designed to be more lively, with a big screen, barbeque and a bar which is linked to the ground level bar all of which accentuate the community aspects of the BTR use within the building.
